Hunter's Blog Post
Hey my name is Hunter Kennedy and I am an incoming sophomore at Trinity high school Today we had a full lab day and for most the day we worked on our projects that we have to present tomorrow. Today was a little rough because everyone is really tired for all the activities of yesterday (swimming in waterfall or horseback riding) but it helps push up to work even when were all tired and worn out. my group has been pushing to finish our experiments and finish up our presentations. usually I lose interest in projects pretty quickly but for some reason I almost cant stop working on these projects, it even has me reading books during my free time and if you know anything about me I hate reading. We based our project on leafcutter ants and if they prefer certain leaves over other leaves and we just finished out statistics right before I came to write the blog. Another thing I'm noticing from this trip is the amount of people I'm meeting and the connections I'm making with them. This trip was an opportunity I'm glad I didn't pass up, and if I could go back in time I wouldn't choose to come back in a heartbeat. not only did I learn a ton about leafcutter ants but I learned a bunch about the people I'm around but mostly I learned a lot about myself.
P.S Dad you better take me fishing when I get home!!
